Terms of use
Last updated 1 June 2026
These are the terms for using puzzleotter.com and the games on it. We've kept them short and readable on purpose. By using the site, you're agreeing to what's below. If you don't agree, that's completely fine — you're just asked not to use the site.
The games are free to play
You may play every game here as much as you like, for personal enjoyment, at no cost. You don't need an account and we'll never ask you to pay. We may add, change or retire a game at any time as the studio grows.
Who owns what
The games, the artwork, the otter drawings, the written words and the code are all created by us and remain ours. You're welcome to link to the site and to tell people about it. Please don't copy a game, repackage it, sell it, or present our work as your own without asking us first. We're a friendly two-person outfit — if you'd like to use something, just write and ask.
Playing fairly
Please use the site in the ordinary way: to play and enjoy the puzzles. Please don't try to overload the site, break it for other people, scrape it at scale, or use it to do anything unlawful. If you find a bug or a way to break a game, we'd much rather you tell us than exploit it.
No guarantees
We pour real care into these games, but we offer them as they are. We can't promise the site will always be available or completely free of bugs, and we're not able to take responsibility for any loss that comes from using it. Your puzzle progress is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data will clear it — that's expected.
Links we don't control
If we ever link out to another website, we're not responsible for what's on it. The link is just a pointer, not an endorsement of everything on the far end.
If these terms change
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you're happy with the new version.
